The only reason your dog doesn't attempt to kill you is that you feed it. Dogs are predators designed by nature to kill and eat other mammals, and to procreate. And that's about it. Fortunately, predators always choose the easiest meal, and we get to pretend that our dogs have the capacity to love us. Just don't forget to feed Fluffy or all bets are off.
