Receiving a strongly worded reprimand doesn't hurt at all. It might even be fun, and an incentive to keep on doing whatever it is that earned you that worthless piece of paper. Actual punishment, on the other hand, might give one pause to reflect on the wisdom of continuing to be an aggravating jerk.
